I have lived in Hawaii and the Ohana spirit still lives in me.
Now I live in another paradise Island and I love the culture and the warm welcoming smiles of the Puerto Rican people.
How fortunate have I been live in places of such rich history. I am always grateful.
Let me give you an example. In early December, I needed to purchase a money order for $5.00 to get some records from a government agency in another state. Well the lines at the Post Office were crazy. So I tried a local bank and they refused to help me because I didn’t have an account with them. I was frustrated that this simple task was getting so time consuming and difficult. However, a lady in the teller’s line offered to help me a purchase the money or der on my behalf. Her comment was “we have to look after each other”…. Bless her kind heart!
