The Queen Mother
Oh great Mother, the bountiful, the beautiful,
all abundance and plenty we receive by your love.
Oh great goddess, womb of new life,
Oh great queen, regal and proud,
all devotion and honor, inspired by your warmth.
May we your child, take example from the eagle,
your untamed pet who soars upon the high wind.
May we emulate the oak, your sacred bough,
and grow strong and wise through the years.
May we liken ourselves to the shaft of wheat,
continually renewing and feeding the world.
May we humble ourselves like the drop of water,
and flow together into a mighty river of progress.
Oh great sweet Empress, divine and ever present,
may we, your children, ever remember the womb.
