Recycle The Trash

A dark knight representing Death on a white horse holds a black flag with a white rose emblem. In the background, a sunset illuminates the scene featuring a couple of towers and a river. Below, several figures including a child and women express various emotions, while a fallen knight lies on the ground.

Birth, life, death, rebirth and so it goes and goes. This card is rich with symbology. In movies this card has been used to elicit fear and the ultimate dread. That is overly simplistic on the most primal nature. Take good fearless look into the depths of it rich symbology and see what other thoughts this card inspires.

Some call him Chaos, others Mercy.
He may be a Sampson, toppling great palaces
or he may be a Moses, emerging out of turmoil
to bring law and order.
He may be a Prometheus, bearer of light
or a Noah, tending the light in dark times.
We see him arising out of the ashes of destruction,
stepping from the fiery furnace or lion’s den.
Mercy, because he brings an end to pain
through the offer of a fresh start.
Chaos, because he brings change
and the offering of a new challenge.
Always he is present,
making sure that the law of evolution
flows on into the highest of achievements.
Death, birth, beginning, or end;
one step closer to perfection.
