A Student With A Bright Future
The Page has a different status in the royal court of the element they represent. A Page is a child or youth who has not yet developed independence from the family unit. They can be either a boy or a girl, since they have not reached maturity. They are pure potential, like birds with feathers and wings who have not yet been pushed from the nest to test their ability to fly. What is the opposite of youth? Old age—especially when a person has lost the ability to live independently and must seek assistance from others. It is a journey from hope for the future to memories of the past. Phi Beta Kappa,
a mind bristling with ideas,
a heart stirring with ambition,
feet taking their first steps
on the path to a new career,
on the first rung of the ladder to success.
A real ball of fire,
waiting for the gun to go off
that signals the start of the race.
