A Prisoner of her own mind

Nothing builds a better trap than our own mind. This is a depiction of low self-esteem and terrible self-worth. There is no one else in this picture, so it’s clear that this is solely her own puzzle to solve. She has turned her back on the society pictured as the city behind her. She is standing in pools of stagnant water which are emotions that no longer flow to progress. These pools represent the lies of self-doubt that she keeps repeating and are the real bars of her prison. Eight is a number ruled by Saturn which can be a stern taskmaster; it’s all about organizations such as government, companies, religion, or universities, all of which she has rejected for this self-imposed fear that binds her. Now I warned you that swords show the worst extreme to get its point across, so in a reading this is not an absolute, incurable condition but a sign of realization so that the person can unbind themselves and begin to walk again on the path of their destiny. This card makes no judgments, it only shows what is so that the person can receive the appropriate kick in the ass that can get them moving again. Eight swords is a huge collection of knowledge and abilities, so there is a lot to draw upon. Saturn is known for building strong foundations. Tell me what you think of my poem, your comments free my mind and fuel my engine of creativity.
You have let your fears and lies
paint you into a corner.
You might have gotten by
until you confused yourself
and became blind to the truth.
So now you’re in a bind.
You must change your ways or die.
See that dog chasing his tail?
Now, what would he do if he caught it?
