He wants to see just over that next hill
Ok, okay! I’m a little biased on this card, I’ll admit it! I’m a Sagittarius and he’s a Sag too. I saved the best for last, ha! I’ve mentioned the knight’s horses as an important symbol: the stoic Virgo with his steed at full stop, the guarded Cancer with his horse with one leg raised, the speed demon Gemini with his horse at full gallop. Now comes our Sagittarius with his horse reared up just like Zorro or the Lone Ranger, exerting masterful control of his mount as he is about to unleash its power to destinations in the distance. The mountains in the distance resemble the pyramids of Giza, which brings a mystical nature to his quest. He has spurs to prod his beast into action, and his armor has flame decorations just like a hot rod ready for the drag strip. His horse is red, as is his tunic and his top feathers as well. So everything suggests the fire element of his sign. We see the fire salamanders decorating his tunic, and the feathered plume decorating his helm is unlike the other knights; they are fluffy, maybe even gaudy ostrich feathers resembling “flames.” Being flamboyant (flame-like and ornate) is part of the Sagittarius personality traits; I was the class clown who grew up to be an actor, speaker, singer. The motto for this fire sign is “I see”; they are always looking down the road towards new horizons. My poem, again I admit, is very personal and revealing of my own feelings and experiences. I have armor, so I can handle your comments, which I eagerly invite. Hi-yo Silver, away!
He’s a bold adventurer who seeks the Holy Grail.
Even if it takes an eon,
he’ll gallop on,
seeking after the truth.
The truth, he knows,
is only one more ride away.
An eternal optimist is he.
With a pure heart, he brandishes his sword
as a defender of the faith.
His heart is heavy,
for his blade has often been too quick.
Yet onward he will go,
never missing a thing.
It saddens him to know
that the world doesn’t always see things his way,
even though he knows it’s all “just so.”
